From the vibrant heart of Old Havana, I use graffiti and muralism as tools of self-expression, not decoration. The white-eyed faces that inhabit my walls are not ghosts: they are the hidden faces of a society that has not learned to look at itself in the mirror.
My rough and visceral aesthetic captures the gestures, tensions, and scars of the Cuban working-class neighborhood. I paint from urgency and memory. Every stroke seeks to make neglected realities visible, to give form back to what has been marginalized.
I grew up on asphalt, among streets that speak loudly. And for that reason, I do not paint to please. I paint so they are not forgotten.
